Michael Gordon, President and Founder
Michael Gordon founded CC Pace in 1980 and remains a hands-on principal of this business and information technology consulting firm. Mike’s vision has been to merge strong domain knowledge in specific market niches with specialized technology and methodology expertise, delivered through a team of employees committed to serving customers with the highest quality and integrity. This approach has earned clients' trust and confidence, and resulted in long-standing relationships with Fortune 100 to community players throughout the country over the past 3 decades. Mike is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and he has led numerous strategy development, business process redesign and technology projects during his career. In addition to being President of CC Pace, he is a founding and active Corporate Advisory Board member for SOME (So Others Might Eat). Mike is a graduate with distinction from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce with a dual-major in Management Information Systems and Marketing.
Philippa Fewell, Managing Director, Enterprise Solutions
Philippa (Phil) Fewell has over thirty years experience managing and delivering complex financial and technology projects for both Fortune 500 and startups. Her practice focuses on application development and systems selection, implementation, and integration services utilizing Lean and Agile methods. With over 25 years experience, Phil is an accomplished executive and manager, with demonstrated expertise in driving and supporting executive mandates to create solutions that meet business objectives. She has an exceptional track record of managing stakeholders at all organizational levels, with an emphasis on establishing cultures of trust and building high-performance teams. Phil is a graduate of Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute, with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Business.
Craig Hughes, Managing Director, Financial Services
Craig Hughes has three decades of high-level experience in innovatively putting technology to work for the financial services industry. He brings established expertise in strategic planning and technology implementation, including development of short- and long-term technology strategies; reviews of current systems; product selection; and custom software development, implementation, and integration. As a recognized leader in mortgage consulting, Craig has had extensive responsibility for business development and strategic planning, client relations, and operational management throughout changing industry cycles. He specializes in advising mortgage companies on how to support their strategic business directions through process improvements and the application of technology. Craig has spoken on technology themes at numerous mortgage industry conferences, and has published several articles for Mortgage Banking and other industry periodicals.
Kuryan Thomas, Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Kuryan Obi Thomas has over 25 years of experience in software architecture, design, and implementation. Since joining CC Pace in 2001, Kuryan has been the technical lead and advisor on agile Extreme Programming/Scrum software projects. He writes code on Agile projects, directing and leading teams on practices such as Test-Driven Design, Continuous Integration, and Simple Design. Kuryan also has led technology strategy and system selection engagements. His implementation experience covers numerical computing, operating system internals, system software, and mission-critical business enterprise software on Java EE and .NET platforms. Kuryan holds a PhD in condensed matter physics from Virginia Tech.
