CERTIFIED SCRUMMASTER™ - 14 PDUs OFFERRED from PMI
Learn the essentials of working as a ScrumMaster or Scrum team member in this course. While the Scrum Alliance provides a list of core concepts that must be covered in the CSM class, each instructor creates his or her own material, allowing courses to differ based on the strengths, interests, and experiences of the instructor. All of our instructors are experienced coaches and consultants who have been working on the ground with organizations all over the world so they bring their real-work experiences to the classroom. The training is focused on preparing ScrumMasters and Change Agents for the role they will play in the successful adoption of Scrum in the organization. Students learn the basics of Scrum, how to get it started, and how to keep it going in their organizations.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Certified ScrumMaster™ certification and a one year membership from Scrum Alliance.

This introductory course offers a new alternative to the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) training. While CSM focuses solely on the ScrumMaster Role, Scrum Team Training focuses on the entire Team, including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers, Developers, and Architects. This team-based training will help you understand your role within the Scrum team structure and equip you with the knowledge, skills, and tools to successfully implement Scrum. After taking this highly interactive workshop, you will understand Scrum concepts, why they work, and how to start using Scrum on your next project.

The Product Owner course is targeted at the customer side of the Agile project, focusing on the business owner and business analysts who must change how they work in order to work effectively with Agile delivery teams. The switch to Agile is non-trivial for the business partner and this course will provide knowledge, skills, and the practice necessary to be successful in managing the Agile project.

AGILE TEAM POWERSTART™
The Agile Team PowerStart!™ begins a team on the right foot, combining the high energy PowerStart!™ workshop with optional ongoing team coaching. The PowerStart!™ one-day workshop leads newly formed teams through the developmental work of the initial phase of team growth, proactively and collaboratively creating their team culture and explicit agreements for how to
work as a team.

The initial PowerStart!™ workshop includes high engagement exercises, real deliverables, and just enough education and group discussions to get the job done. The output is a uniquely designed Team Culture, the creation of an Initial Team Operating Agreement, and an Action Plan. Based on the cutting edge Organization & Relationship Systems™ coaching methods, the PowerStart!™ helps your team use the latest thinking in team formation and coaching to set them on the road to high performance. This workshop complements Agile training and product/project domain orientations. We can collaborate with the team’s Agile Coach or Scrum Master to customize and co-lead the workshop for optimal continuity with the team.

LEADERSHIP AGILITY & DEVELOPMENT
Our leadership coaching offerings draw on a deep understanding of the Agile environment combined with training and experience in management coaching and leadership methods. COACHING OFFERINGS:

Leadership Development: Using the Leadership Agility model, we support your development in acquiring the mindset, skills, and approach to leadership that magnifies your organization’s success, both with your direct reports and on down the line. Our coaches can also facilitate your role as organizational change sponsor with systems approaches to change and organization culture.
Management Coaching: Using an Agile Manager learning model, we support your first and second-line managers in their emerging role leading self-organized teams, steeping them in the Agile mindset, facilitating their role as change agent, and mentoring their coaching skills to develop their teams. We sit with each manager, designing the appropriate mix of mentoring, coaching and development components to suit their individual temperament and organizational goals. EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS:

For Managers: "The New Agile Manager" Combining a leadership assessment tool with case-based education, this course introduces middle managers to eight competency areas for successful management in the Agile paradigm and ways to integrate their personal leadership style. Managers will see their contributions greatly enhanced at all organizational levels with this skill building class. Length: 1 day
For Executives: "Leading the Agile Enterprise" This course unfolds the Leadership Agility model, highlighting Expert, Achiever and Catalyst developmental behaviors and attitudes. In the context of creating an Agile Enterprise, we explore the effect of new management competencies and expectations, the greater emphasis on team performance, as well as organizational change implications. A full day version expands these topics to include culture-specific models for implementing Agile, in-depth principles for leading organization change, and skill building in leadership coaching. Length: ½ day
